UNLOCKING THE CREATIVE SPIRIT IN EVERYONE
A loved heritage brand, Paperchase has strong credibility in stationery, art and design. Over the years however, its retail environment had become tired and its product offering was confusing. A huge opportunity existed to reignite the brand’s creative spirit and give it a strong point of view. Working with the in-house team, a new visual identity was developed to inspire customers and keep Paperchase top of mind.
Creative is expressed playfully through the hand of the artist – using collage, handwriting, montage and paper cut shapes. Image art direction super-sizes the patterns and designs used in seasonal collections, blurring the line between illustration and photography.
The brand’s creative spirit culminates in the quintessential poster, where collections are expressed through playful and eye-catching copy and visuals.
